Message from the Organizing Chairman, Dr Bharath K Kadadi
“TWENTY YEARS FROM NOW, YOU WILL BE MORE DISAPPOINTED BY THE THINGS THAT YOU DID’NT DO THAN BY THE ONES YOU DID DO- MARK TWAIN”
It gives me immense pleasure to host the megaevent ISSHCON 2024 in Bangalore on October 4th, 5th, and 6th,2024.
My sincere special thanks go to all those who have already registered for the meeting and thanks to those who will be registering soon.
This event is very special as we have three guest nations participating: Australia, Emirates, and Singapore, as well as participants from many other countries.
The theme of the meeting is “ACTIVATE , RENOVATE AND REJUVENATE. “
ACTIVATE, as we would like to have members participating in large numbers from India and abroad, collaborate and showcase scientific advancements in the field of hand surgery
RENOVATE because the literate of the future is the one who can unlearn and relearn to cope with the changing techniques and technology for better patient outcomes.
REJUVENATE because this is a great opportunity to cherish old friendships and make new ones, relive great memories, and get recharged so that you can get back into the cycle of learning, teaching, and practicing hand surgery with renewed ideas and innovations.
The venue chosen is 15-minute drive from the airport, a spacious resort, to experience the greenery of Bangalore.
Scientific sessions are being planned to cater to beginners as well as stalwarts with more emphasis on case discussions, debates, research and surgical videos.
The conference starts with workshops on October 4th at 9 a.m., followed by CME and Emperor Ashoka oration in the afternoon. In the evening, there will be an inauguration followed by a welcome dinner.
Oct 5th and 6th is dedicated to a spectrum of scientific deliberations, from the most awaited orations to master classes and lectures with take-home messages.
The Gala banquet dinner is on Oct 5th, and it will have a unique theme of its own.
A quiz with attractive prizes, Alumni meets, 5k runs/ cricket matches, and pre- and post-conference tours are added features.
Our organising team is sparing no effort to make the event memorable and carry home sweet memories.
ALONE, WE CAN DO SO LITTLE; TOGETHER, WE CAN DO SO MUCH-HELLEN KELLER
